Director Christoph Schrewe about Marcel Barsotti’s Seewolf score ( The Udo Honig Story , Inspector Jury ): “ … The music should be dark, archaic and dark as well as the soul of Wolf Larsen … I think that is what he does succeeded extremely well: These are this dark main theme played by brass instruments … the atonal string passages, the melodramatic Maud theme and the great archaic action music that never get boring … Larsen’s unpredictable state is reflected in the entire Score Marcel: that’s what I think is awesome. „
In 2009 Alhambra Records released a second Seewolf score for another film adaptation with the music of Richard G. Mitchell .
